Look what happened this afternoon!

The Norwegians are, apparently, the most accurate when it comes to predicting the weather in Zimbabwe.  I still haven't worked that one out, but I do know that they don't often get it right.  Apparently at 2pm on Friday it was going to rain, it didn't, then it was due to rain yesterday, not a drop.  Today, no rain predicted and the most wonderful thunderstorm and 38mls of rain.  Thank you!

It's cooled off a little, although when we went out for an afternoon walk, it was horribly humid as you could almost feel the water from the ground evaporating in the heat from the sun. This evening, it's all feeling cooler again and we may even need to venture into having a blanket on the bed for the first time in months.

Alas, the TV is still not fixed.  The weekend staff were given their main tasking of the day, which was to clear all the foliage from around the TV antenna in an attempt to improve matters, it didn't.  I'm sure they wondered about their job descriptions as farm foreman and farm hands when this task was briefed to them in earnest this morning by my father in law.

We've enjoyed a lazy Sunday, listening to the rain as it came down, getting plenty of mundane chores done and a lovely walk before supper.
