Floating In A Most Peculiar Way

Woke up to the sad news that David Bowie died In the early hours aged 69.
I was never a huge fan but I can appreciate that the man was a musical genius, a legend. One of a kind.
 One of his quotes I read today: "I really had a hunger to experience everything that life had to offer, ...' 
and I reckon he probably did experience it all.

In other news, the rains came down and the floods came up.
Luckily the water receded just before reaching the house. I moved the wine rack up onto the breakfast bar just in case. D came home and rescued all the guitars.
