Purple, wet flowers

So, I love, really love the color purple. I get to drive past beautiful purple crepe myrtles every day on my way to work. I stopped yesterday to get a shot of the purple blooms, but the colors were off.

So I stopped today, used a different camera, and the colors are still off :/ Imagine a deep and bright purple, like a deep fuchsia, and then you can "see" the purple.

It rained a lot last night, so I was able to catch a drop of rain in this photo. Even though I could not capture the color well, I did capture the drop of rain, and that made me happy :)
