Lock Gate Reflection

We went to Ripon this morning and walked along the canal towpath. Most of the way it is a hardcore path and quite easy to walk on, but as we got further along it turned to grass liquid mud and so we turned around and came back.

There was very little wind today and so the reflections were tremendous. This is the first set of lock gates heading away from town and the canal bends just in front of it enabling me to line up the centre of the gates at the ends of the lock. I just liked the symmetry of the gates and the reflection
