Shaft of sunlight

So much for a bright crisp morning with frost.....no such luck, just grey and more rain!

drove over to see mum and sis today, did our usual M&S lunch, shopping etc. Sis dashed off after lunch and I asked mum if she wanted to go home or stop off at the garden centre for a coffee..........;-) Turned out to be a very expensive cup of coffee, I bought a coat :-0.
It was just what I've been looking for, so couldn't resist :-)

We did get a little sunshine just for a spell mid afternoon. I snapped these tulips on the sideboard, Was the only brightness today, other than my bargain coat of course :-)

The drive home this evening was not pleasant, absolutely throwing it down again, no sign of the forecast snow, it's still 3 degrees. We have just got home, having picked hub up from daughters en route, where he has been since late afternoon. He's spent the evening playing games with Emily!
