Progress, apparently.

About eighteen months ago, there was a locally listed building here.
It had stood for over a century.
I blipped it last year, weeks before it was torn down.

The council gave permission for it to be razed to the ground.

This new school which has "MediaCityUK" in its title was built in its place.
Pupils will have to be ferried from an existing site school about three miles away.
It's stuck next to an extremely busy and congested road (can't be seen here, it's at the top of the photo) that leads from Trafford Park and heading to South Manchester to a major roundabout that links to Liverpool, Leeds, and the other side of Manchester. There are no playing fields at the school.

Why do all this?
