Freedom

Bill Lewis is a Santa Cruz artist who works in sand, on the beach. I've photographed many of his pieces over the years. This latest creation was made to commemorate Lithuanian independence and honor the freedom fighters. It's worth remembering that this amazing piece will be gone soon, eroded by rain, the tides, wind and people.
