Owl up close and personal

Today Joyce and I visited the Center for Birds of Prey in Awendaw.  My first experience of owls that were not in the zoo.  We were treated to a flight demonstration by a turkey vulture, peregrine falcon, several hawks, a kite and this owl.  

This center has an avian hospital and does rescue, rehab and housing of birds that cannot be returned to the wild.  A great place to visit!
