Sea Horses...

...with backdrop of Bass Rock.

Couldn't waste such a sunny, clear day and low tide so took ourselves to Tyninghame Smithy cafe then to John Muir Country Park. In an arctic wind and sunshine we walked north along Belhaven Bay when two horses strolled towards us, the bright red jacket of one rider contrasting with the dull block of the Bass Rock.

As the clouds moved, so the light fell upon the rock and highlighted the rivulets - see extra - and left us to return to the car with the wind behind us. 

Now settling down to watch Shetland.
