Sam is 41

14 on the 14th. Birthday boy. If only there wasn't pesky school to interrupt a day of pure lego Star Wars building. And then his mum realises she booked a vet nurse appointment for the leggy hairball straight after school. More delay until the building starts. But as we were out and about, it made sense to all head to grandmas for some old fashioned comfort food. And so it was with his relatives all around him just to spend some birthday time with him....he switches off into his own wee world and built and built till the two models were done. Not even chocolate cake could distract the need for completion. And now the biggest test of all, Sam always builds to the instructions, dismantles then free builds something even better but some of these recent Star Wars models feel a bit special. I reckon the millennium falcon and Poe's orange go faster speed machine will stay intact for some time.

Happy birthday Sam, may yer 'tache one day grow into a full beard and your heart find safe haven in the hands of a Lego loving girl.
