Fallen

I was up well before the sparrows farted to get an earlier train than usual south, due to having to travel via London (they're still mending the Lamington viaduct). I arrived in time for the sandwiches and then sat through a meeting all afternoon. Difficult times for colleagues..., several were also staying at K's Hill and S hiked up from the Hilton to join us for dinner, wine drinking and commiserations.

Presumably these socks had fallen out of a jogger's backpack - they were highly visible from a great distance as we walked up the path from the campus.
