Portraits in the Lightcatcher

Artist Ray Turner's portraits of 70 Whatcom County residents, included in his nation-wide Population project, are currently on display in the Whatcom Museum's Lightcatcher building. They were featured in the monthly Art Walk this Friday.

Local artists painted and sketched portraits during the evening, and visitors were able to enjoy the unusual and delicious offerings of the museum cafe, Cheese Meat(s) Beer, served al fresco in the courtyard. Kulshan Brewing Co. brewers were on hand to serve the recommended beer pairings. The food and beer was excellent. Cynthia provides the usual details in her blip.
