Little Solsbury Hill

Climbed to the top of Little Solsbury Hill for the first time in weeks as a consequence of the heavy and sustained rain we've been receiving.

The foliage was verdant, green and abundant after all that rain - the hilltop was almost unrecognisable compared to preceding years.

The column of smoke is from a large scrapyard fire outside Royal Wootton Bassett. That's probably a good 20 miles away, which gives you an idea of the scale of the blaze.
