The sun was shining..

and out came the scooters and the bikes bringing the wee ones to the park.

There were little ones with their parents on the playground and bigger ones here on the skate ramp.

This ramp has only been built recently and there were people opposed to it!!!
They thought it would be an 'eye sore' covered in graffiti and attracting drinking, drug taking dangerous gangs of teenagers???
IT IS A SKATE RAMP!! NOT A DRUG TAKEAWAY!!!!!!!

The attempts you can see to paint out any graffiti is the 'eye sore' if you ask me.

The teenagers (mostly boys) mainly play football and basketball in the cage.

Others (mainly girls) sit in circles on the field and chat.

It is good to see them all having fun in the sunshine.
