Wood Pigeon Plus

Today was the coldest day since we arrived in Paris two weeks ago. The smoke and/or steam from a distant chimney is visible here, as well as a wood pigeon warming itself on another--plus three starlings flying by. In the ten winters I've been taking shots of stationary birds from our windows, I don't think I've ever captured a bird flying by--and here are three!  Here is one of my best wood pigeons, less than a year ago; none have perched nearly as close this year.  I've tagged a series of them.
