SOB La Ropa

Monday's on South of the Border Volleyball Vacations is a low key day. After tournament play in the morning, the rest of the day is taken up with fun stuff. Approximately half the guests take a boat trip on the Picante and then meet the remainder on Playa La Ropa. There, less serious games of volleyball are played. The nine professional players take part, but they all play with some type of handicap. Returning pro Stafford Slick has taken the handicap system to new heights, last year playing while sitting in a chair, this year playing with a bucket. Despite the supposed handicap, they are still incredible athletes and make spectacular plays, such as this stretched out dig, whether they are playing with bucket, chair, coconut, napkin holder, boogie board, or flip flops - all things that have been used in the past.
