Rain demolished play.

Tonight was the grand opening of our new gaff. The idea was to have a Twenty20 game between Stroud and Cranham cricket clubs. Stroud's was the David Moore Presidential XI and Cranham's was the Lily Cooper Invitational XI.

Then the fucking rain came. And stayed. For hours.

To not play a game was heartbreaking but everyone there still conspired to make it a rare night indeed. I'm incredibly proud to be part of such a very special club and involved with the superb folks in it.
