Bird class ...

So out I went into the drizzle, leaving my sister to deal with mum who said she'd like to stay in bed a bit longer.

We went to a nature reserve over the river. It was fairly quiet (everywhere seems to be at the moment). We saw some goldeneye and siskins and had a good walk but that was about it!

I took advantage of my sister being here and went for a jaunt in the afternoon. The flooded fields were full of redshank and lapwings .. and on my way home I stopped to watch this hunting barn owl.
