Draatsi at Wirk

Another lovely day, still cold but still sunny :)  There was a light snow shower in the afternoon but it didn't snow much.

I've had a busy day in the museum office.  I had some sorting out of photos for this afternoon.  I headed down to Cunningsburgh hall for the lunch club and to show them some old photos of Cunningsburgh and the rest of Shetland.  They really enjoyed the show and have asked me back again soon.  Back to work and plenty to keep me busy for the rest of the afternoon.  I met mam and nieces Megan and Elise after work and mam took them to Islesburgh for tea.  Elise has popped along me for an hour or so, before I put her home.  Off to work in the pub again tonight.

This morning at work, I spied our resident draatsi (otter) again.  He seems to be popping by every other day, so if visiting, keep an eye going for him :)  He had been fishing for breakfast in the dock and then he vanished.  I walked over the pier, looked down at the steps and there he was, sitting out of the water.  I managed to get a quick snap, before I gluffed him and off he went.  Taken at Hay's Dock, Lerwick.
