A day of fog, hoar frost, ice and birds

Went to Slimbridge with the birding group - many of the wading birds had fled to the estuary where they can still feed in the mud - but even so we saw 30 different wild birds  (we excluded the 'tame' ones that are kept as examples/for breeding/or who had had their wings pinioned).  Extras include a robin, cobweb and a fence post top
