The sweepers work is never fishished
After another almost sleepless night with the road being dug up to put pipes through the town I jumped at the chance to take a taxi to the holy city of Pushkar. The driver had delivered some tourists to Bundi and had an empty car to return. My stomach behaved itself on the journey and we arrived just after dark. This is a strange place – hang out for hippies – Peace Man – sadhus and quantities of stalls hoping to sell their wares to the pilgrims who come here to worship and bathe in the lake. I’m in the same hotel as last time and hope you enjoy the few pics from my journey
