Mist Rising

There was a beautiful frost this morning so I went to the castle first thing and the sun was shining with mist rising from the moat. Here the ducks are swimming through the bridge that is under the drawbridge.

This afternoon I recced the walk that I'm leading for the group on Monday. I saw two kestrels, a fox, winter thrushes and a flock of siskins. Typical that I didn't have the right camera and lens as it would have been too heavy for a longish walk!
