Anything done

I've recently moved office. It's a change from my usual desk where i have been for nearly 16 years.

I'm not opposed to change but I did wonder how i would like my new office. Once the computer technicians had been and moved my computer i really felt like I was leaving my old office for good.

I said my goodbyes and off I went, it felt a bit like a seperation from all things and people familiar but all good things come to a natural end and I left my desk taking my belongings with me. Even my post trays but hey ho off you go.

I've moved down the corridor! It's 26 paces from my new office to my old one, 52 there and back. As most of the things 'everyone' needs are in my old office where a colleague has taken my postion at my desk (of nearly 16 years!) I find myself walking along the corridor quite often. The photocopier, the printer, envelopes, files, cellotape, the stapler which often has a little trot back up to the old office where it also worked for a lot years.

So i decided to keep a tally of the amount of times i walked the 52 paces there and back by putting a little stick it note on the door and marking it each time i passed it.

Looks like i walk the corridors rather a lot, its a wonder i get anything done!
