SOCKS IN A BOX

Out early this morning to Morrisons with my friend Jan.  Weather was decidedly chilly - and it has remained chilly all day.  It is forecast to be minus 4 overnight.  Brrrrr

When I got back from my shopping trip I unpacked the shopping, had breakfast, put some washing on, did the washing up, watched " Silent Witness " from last week and then went back to bed for a nap.

Neil came here later this afternoon.  He has had a meal ( steak, chips and onion rings - the usual ) and is just relaxing this evening.  He will stay the night and tomorrow he will leave for work early.

For my own tea I made a Slimming World recipe - Special Prawn Fried Rice.  It was lovely.

I ordered a pair of socks online for Neil  They are special running socks made with anti- blister yarn with arch support. Thought they would be useful while he is training for The London Marathon.  Maybe he can wear them on race day - if they last that long.  Neil is heavy on socks.  They arrived today and as you can see the size of the packaging was very generous.  The cats were pleased - a nice box to sit inside.
