2016 Monday -- Sunset at the Lookout

We were gone from the house most of day. We drove into San Luis Obispo to scout for a dining room table, to look for bedding for the new queen-size bed, and to return a few things to the Target store.

Late in the afternoon when we returned to the house, it was obvious the construction guys were at top speed trying to get things done. This job ends this week. They have another job to get to. Then we realized after walking our dogs to the beach lookout, that the guys still were not finished for the day.

We were going to miss seeing sunset, so we put the pups in the car and headed back to the lookout. Lots of folks head to the lookout for the best performance of the day. It was worthy of all of our attention! and that is what we gave it.

When we got back to the house the guys were gone, so we fixed our evening meal, salad and spaghetti with marinara sauce, and then like children filled with glee, we ate while marveling and looking about our "new to us" beach house.
