Great Service

We called in the broken cable around seven pm on the nineteenth and at eight o'clock am on the twentieth people from Telkom called to enquire what the problem was and soon after they showed up with a new cable which they installed. We helped by cutting down more and more branches from the trees so the drop (that's what they called the cable) had a free path to our house. Soon after they left the internet was down again and we could not get through to our service provider, but Telkom had a recorded message that said there was a major technical problem which their crew where working on. It finally came up again late in the evening and then we heard that two of three cables to SA had been damaged, so we were more of less cut off from the world. I still don't understand why our ADSL was down because of that. But at least it is up and running now!
