When we moved to this house, all the internal doors were painted white. The Ards Man was of the opinion that the wood underneath was very cheap. I do remember that the handles sometimes didn't work so well.

Anyhoo, over time the AM got to dislike the white doors a lot, so eventually replaced them all with - you've guessed it - solid oak doors! He made these glazed ones from scratch, again finishing them just before Christmas a ween of years ago (where ween is a not-remembered number).

You can also see another of his creations, a lamp table, in the room beyond, but that's for another blip!

We're heading out to a whiskey-tasting event this evening, even though I don't like whiskey. The craic should be good, anyway! Hope you all have a great weekend :)
