Resting tulip

Despite its fiery colour, this tulip looked to me rather as though it was resting its head on its arm leaf.  I had sympathy with that and it made me smile, so although there were more conventional tulip shots in the camera it was this one that won through to FlowerFriday.

Apart from that, Friday seems to have come and gone in a rainstorm (this morning) and some beautiful sun (this afternoon).  Not much has been achieved.  Not much to report.  But now we're at the weekend, who knows?
