Magical Steps

I absolutely adore these steps that lead through to Yeld Road.
The way they are worn by so many footsteps over the years is a living history of Bakewell.
I guess the health and safety nazis would have something to say about it, but there is a handrail and hopefully in the long term many more feet will have the pleasure of wearing out these fantastic steps.
A beautiful example of living history.
