Savour the Moment

Bird song, sun shine, mild air and snow drops, Spring felt not so far away this morning. I did my favourite walk which loops around the village - starting on country lanes, then along the old railway line and up onto the heath, before dropping back down via a steep and heavily wooded path, to the lane near to the house. I saw lots of different birds - tree creepers, gold finches, long tailed tits and jays... to name but a few. I sat on a bench in a grassy glade next to the old railway so I could savour the moment a little longer!
