Family Reunions

A lecture date with a garden club in St Albans brought me close to the family home, so I went the extra mile and picked my Mum up from North London and she came along to hear my talk.  As luck would have it, the Norfolk Goodes are making a trip to the Science Museum on Monday so I am staying down here until then.  A rare chance to spend time with just my Mum ..... I think it is the first time I've stayed here with just her!

Tonights whimsy is a picture of Mum and Dad.  He as she first knew him, her in all her ancient glory .... chatting to my brother on the phone - whilst also playing scrabble against the computer on her iPad!

I might add that one of her Aunts lived to be 106 so maybe Mum is not so ancient after all :-)
