The Covered Bridge

Tom's sister and brother-in-law came down for the  weekend--they're staying at their daughter's house-- so they invited us over for lunch so we could all spend some time together. We stopped at the Covered Bridge on the way there as it's only a couple of miles from where our niece lives, & I was surprised to see that the river was frozen over. I expected it to have ice in it, but it usually flows so rapidly that the top doesn't freeze--I wouldn't trust the ice enough to walk on it though. Typical winter day with no sun and everything looking a bit dull and colorless! Nice outside though, at a very comfortable 38 degrees!! :)
