Olympic Discus Thrower

In the St Mary the Virgin church in Bibury there was a Flower and Art Festival, this sculpture is by a 14 year old from the village. View large for the best effect. The lighting changed the colours but I liked the blue best. The church is lovely and the artwork demonstrated the skills of the local population.
We met Jane's sisters in at The Village Pub in Barnsley (Gloucestershire not South Yorkshire) for a fabulous lunch. We ate outside and only had to head for the umbrella as coffee was being enjoyed. Highly recommended if you are in that area.
After lunch we went to Bibury for a walk round.
When is the next long weekend? Two days is not enough.
