Feathered Friend

We've had a day at home today, not doing much other than the washing and I cooked a Sunday roast, but it's been grey and damp so not really pleasant to go anywhere.

A group of people turned up in the field armed with metal detectors and spent a good few hours digging away, so it was interesting watching them - I wonder if they found anything of value!   And we had a visit from two little Robins which Alan thinks are a nesting pair as they were together.  He took this shot through the upstairs window so I can't take the credit fit it.  It was  taken on full  zoom and then cropped, so it's very good!

My exciting news of the day is that my hair's growing back!  It's very downy and like baby hair, but it's definitely growing.  I asked Alan to take a photo of the back of my head so I could see it, and I was surprised how much there is.  It looks very fair on top, but the back seems a little darker, so it'll be interesting to see how it grows!
