Covent Garden

I've had another trip into London today to met up with my friend Cliona. Cliona and I met when we both lived in Belgium, but her and her family have recently moved to England and are living just outside Cambridge, so London was a great meeting point.

We went to the Belgian cafe bar that Alan and I found in December, which was perfect for our Belgian reunion! We've spent the whole afternoon chatting and catching up, I don't know where the time went, I think we could have stayed and chatted all night!

Before heading back to the tube we sat at the cafe pictured here and had a hot chocolate and a coffee listening to the artists play. This group were excellent and were playing one of my favorites - Canon in D by Pachelbel.

Unfortunately there were no trains from Brighton today due to engineering works so it's a bus replacement service to and from Three Bridges. It makes it a much longer journey, but I'm on the bus home now and Alan will pick me up from the station. It's been a great day though, despite the journey!
