Meal misadventure

Due to not reading the recipe properly for Jamie Oliver's Steak and Guinness pie,  I am leaving now for a Jazz rehearsal having eaten a piece of toast, and left ingredients and written instructions for Sam as to how to finish it off. 

Ben is not yet back from work and the whole thing takes 1.5 more hours than I thought...

I hope it is worth all the cooking time, and that there is some left for me later!
