This fitbit will be the death of me!

Have been doing a lot of walking lately. Now anyone who knows me knows that l am of the firm opinion that l was given feet to press the pedals of a car, so what's with all the walking? M was given a fitbit for Christmas and is using it to monitor his fitness for his big upcoming walk and muggins me is walking along with him!

Today we did a lovely sea walk but went through a mud flat area before reaching the beach (photo). My day was made when l saw a baby pukeko - about 3 in inches tall, it reminded me a little of those figures we used to make out of pipe cleaners when l was a kid - skinny and all legs!
