African Silverbill(Lonchura cantans)
Now this is rare! Not in the South of Oman, but up here in the North, in the South they are breeding residents, so I'm pretty excited to see a tiny flock of five African Silverbill. They are just gorgeous with their chocolate and creamy beige feathers and of course that silver bill. These birds are sadly still very popular as a caged bird as they are pretty and chatty, especially when they are in the company of other Silverbills. They are about the same size as a Sunbird so pretty tiny as well.
