2016 Thursday -- First Morning View

Last night was our first sleep in the upstairs living quarters of this old house now remodeled to new state of the art effeciency.

This new master bedroom has one more window than before. It was taken from the old fireplace room (livingroom) that was completely elimated to make what our builders called the "great room." This new bedroom window sits right beside and approximately 18 inches from the previous window and provides a view that includes Point Buchon at the southern end of this great big Estero Bay out in front of the house. It is one of the few windows in the house that is not double hung; it opens only from the bottom. (This photo is from the original window. The new window eliminates the view of the power pole.)

This photo holds great meaning for me because those three white plastic chairs are positioned where the three guys sat eating lunch every day looking toward the ocean and numerous times commented to us about the spectacular view.

The old round dining room table that we purchased at a second-hand store when we first bought this house is sitting there wrapped in heavy plastic. (Because I am back-blipping this I know that water has seeped under the plastic and discolored the dark wood surface and the top is drooping terribly on one side because something very heavy sat on that table during some of the months of construction.)

It is good to see this angle of the landcape again. It is good to have the reminder of the three guys, Chris, John, and Randy, who we consider master builders, who are dedicated Christian men with solid ethics, quality morals, and immensely responsible and respectable.

It is SO GOOD to wake-up once again in our master bedroom . . . love this place so much!
