A soft day

I slipped up and ordered too much cream for a small project two of us are working on in the village school tomorrow, One litre would be fine but two is way too much. I am not sure what I was thinking of when ordering it, I feel a creme brûlée coming on. The cream is to make butter (not using a churn) and afterwards griddle scones using the butter milk, and we have a jar of local honey. There is some debate as to the recipe and size the scone should be, it is interesting to see the results the two of us have come up with in the trial run, they are quite different.

As to a soft day read this as as wet, very wet.
