The First to be 50

We had a fantastic night out at our friend -R's 50th birthday bash. I used to work with her and her husband was my boss. We were pregnant at the same time twice, and both had boys. Our paths have crossed several times in different ways and we have kept in touch. R has now started cycling and comes out every so often with our group.

She is a folk singer, so the evening was dotted with songs and impromptu musical pieces from her musical family and friends. 

It was great to see so many people I used to work with and catch up, although I struggled with a few to remember their names! R is the first of many people including myself and Mr PB to be 50 this year so it will be a year of partying!
