Driving home in the wet

Our very hot summer weather has turned to very heavy rain this afternoon. I am driving home in my daughter and son on law's Suzuki Swift Sport as I have to pick them up later from a brewery tour. This is a really nice car and a huge improvement on my standard Suzuki Swift work vehicle. Only one small issue. My car is automatic and this one is manual. To date I have remembered the clutch every time and not stalled the car.
