Dartmoor cross near Cadover Bridge
Mrs Mover getting cross on a walk from Cadover Bridge. The walk was via Dewerstone, Goodameavy, the Rivers Meavy and Plym, and Clearbrook. The weather was fine and dry and Plymouth was visible from the high points.
There are a number of stone crosses on Dartmoor, the majority of which were set up for the purpose of marking ancient tracks that ran between the abbeys situated on its southern and western borders.
Afterwards we had tea at the Moorland Hotel
