Getting ready

Had to head over to Star Lane to pick up my Olympic Accreditation today. I was anticipating a large queue as most people collect them at the weekend but I was in and out in five minutes. Could have been because everyone was watching the tennis or the F1.

I then hopped on the tube to Oxford Street for some retail therapy. I had forgotten that the sales were on so everything looked a mess. I left empty handed so consoled myself taking some photos instead. Regent Street in getting ready for the Games with its display of flags from all over the world. I snapped this shot just before the heavens opened and I could hear screams as shoppers ran for cover.
