In the pink

This beautiful hat is part of the outfit that my mum wore to our son's wedding almost 10 years ago.

It finished her outfit perfectly and she looked splendid in it.

I'm about to see if I can sell it along with the rest of the suit, bag and gloves-which are gorgeous Italian silk lined leather.

I remember the outing well to choose the outfit and by the time we started looking for the hat I had just about had it! Mum was really hard to please and knew exactly what she liked ( and didn't).

It has been kept in a battered old hat box which I think I might keep for storage.
