Ford, West Linton
A quick cycle ride in the morning. It was supposed to be, but it was very windy on the way out. On the way back, I stop at West Linton. Lyne Water is quite high. The rive is normally a bit lower at the ford crossing. I remember trying to cross here on my bike several years ago, but I caught a large stone and stopped abruptly. I got my feet very wet. The cycle home was fast, the wind had dropped a little, but I still zoomed along.
After lunch I went to meet my partner, who was working, at Cameron Toll. The buses linked up perfectly, so I got there way too early. I saw a tree that had a lovely shape
Unfortunately my partner was later than expected, so I spent time at the taxi rank watching the crows. I got some odd looks as I took pictures of three of them jumping around the branches. This one stopped for a long time, obviously even crows get fed up with silly games.
