Sunday's Flower

The children are back in their rightful home and my home is still intact. The Triple Sleepover was a success and reciprication will commence next weekend :)

I'm so very tired. Today was hot, sunny, and full of energy. My sweetie had to leave in the morning for a week-long conference on the North Island, so I was solo today with the four kids. (Payback for yesterday!) Went to Halswell Quarry for a picnic/party. I got a little burn despite my remembering the sun screen. I think the sun zapped my energy level.

Found this rose in my neighbor's yard, who told me I could peruse anytime. Think I'll be returning in the future...
