Rent-A-Tube

A few dollars will get you a tube to use for the day. Most of us sat under the "umbrella city" until the the sun got a little less intense in the afternoon. The water was hot-tub hot until you got out pretty far.

One very interesting shot that didn't come out as well as I wanted to so it didn't make the blip cut was of a large yellow backhoe tractor driving down the beach. Ahead of it walked a few people in large hats and long-sleeved shirts. They collected trash washed up during the night's high tide and tossed it into the tractor scoop. The perfect beach trash truck!
