Drummonds Mill

Thick black smoke hung over Bradford this PM as Drummonds Mill burnt down. So sad for the history of Bradford. It is losing its heritage week by week.

One of my earliest memories is of a mill fire - Merral's Lees Sykes Mill in 1965.

Seems there is one a month in Bradford at the moment....... many are listed, all irreplaceable heritage and many beautiful architecture.
Thankfully all firefighters are safe.
