Skiddaw House Youth Hostel ...

In the middle of the Northern Fells high (to me) on the eastern flanks of Skiddaw. A 25th anniversary celebration was happening up there on a misty moisty changeable day. We enjoyed the fantastic walk up there in time to partake of some superb fruitcake and a cup of tea...much needed to give me the energy to walk back again!
